After being an adult and a career woman, I frequently feel lonely. I feel like leaning on somebody. But can't it be possible? I know I should stand on my own feet. I try to keep a steady mind and say I'm okay, but still, I am eager to have someone who can hug my tired shoulder.

 

My Type (iKON) - Long-awaited Debut

Get Ready? Show time!

iKON made its long-awaited debut. 6 boys in 'Team B'- B.I(leader), Jinhwan, Bobby, Yunhyeong, Junheo, and Donghyuk, who had competed with 'Team A(Winner), but failed in "WIN: Who Is Next," successfully finished another survival show, "Mix & Match," and made its debut in the name of 'iKON.'

 During the show, a new member named Chanwoo joined the team, and 7-boy-group, 'iKON,' was finally completed. 

About one year after the show, iKON showed up in the world with its first digital single, "My type"(In Korean, ‘취향저격’(meaning: hitting at my preference'). 

Through the two survival shows (WIN and Mix &Match), all members of iKON are well-known to many people and loved by many fans in the world.

One day, when I was tired and exhausted in the office, a text message came to me - like a pleasant present - from one of my coworkers. I appreciated her words of encouragement, and opened the link on it. It was an old song of Sanulrim, "The Meaning of You." While I was listening to this song - its beautiful lyrics as well as sweet melody, I felt at ease and relaxed. It was like a warm hand stroking my tired heart. With a smile spreading across my face, I kept listening to this song. From then on, this song became one of my favorites. Later, I found another version of this song recorded by IU. Her sweet and lovely voice perfectly matches this ballad song. I like both of them!

Road to the Airport ( Lee Jin-ah & Park Jin-young(JYP))

'Road to the Airport', the first project of Sing the Road is a collaboration between Park Jin-young(JYP) and Lee Jin-ah.

Lee Jin-ah, the second runner-up of K-Pop Star season 4, is known for her sweet voice and skillful piano playing. 

When she came to the audition and introduced herself for the first time, I thought her voice was weird and funny. I never thought I would be one of her fans. 

Map So Sa (Oh My God) - G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Kwanghee

Since first aired in 2005, Infinite Challenge (IC) - real variety TV show in South Korea - has been loved by most Koreans. In every two year, IC held IC music festival. It began in 2007 as a small concert, and only IC members(comedians) participated in the festival. But it grew into a large-scale music festival, and became more and more popular among Koreans. In 2015, to celebrate 10-year anniversary of the IC, it held the largest music festival in Pyeongchang, where Winter Olympics will be held in 2018. For G-Dragon(BigBang), Taeyang(BigBang), and Kwanghee(IC member), this place can be more meaningful than others, because all of them were born in 1988, when Seoul Summer Olympics took place.

“Fear" is the semi-final song sung by Minho Song. He is the first runner-up on the fourth season of Show Me the Money (SMTM) - a rap competition show held in Korean(South) cable TV.  Minho's stirring rap is so touching that  "Fear" ranks high in Melon, the most famous Korean online music chart. To Minho's sincere and heartfelt rap, Taeyang (BigBang) 's soulful voice is added like bread and butter. Taeyang has such a sweet voice that most Koreans think his vocal cord is "coated with honey." In this song, Taeyang, hidden by BigBang, ("Taeyang" means "sun" in Korean ) came out of the sky to brighten the world.
